Photographer and Studio 212 Owner, Susan J. Geier
I discovered photography at an early age, and the
camera has always been a great part of my life. The daughter of a
renowned photojournalist, I grew up with a camera in my hand.
My father Mel Finkelstein (Photographer for the N.Y. Daily News for
35 years, and subsequently Photo Editor for the New York Post),
mentored and trained me throughout my career.

Additionally I studied Fine Arts and Photography at the University
of Massachusetts and Massachusetts College of Art. My graduate
studies at New York University enabled me to refine techniques into
"Expressive Photography." I enjoy freelance and have had my
photos published in EQ magazine,
Florida Golf, The Marketplace, The Performing Artist, St. Petersburg Times, Suncoast News, and Virginia Recorder. In addition, I have had the pleasure
of photographing notable Broadway celebrities and various sports figures.

As an artist I know
how unique and individual we can be. For this reason I
consider the Studio 212 Photographers independent and free to be who
they are. My goal as a photographer and studio owner is to
represent those gifted colleagues that enjoy both freelancing as
well as the security and networking that a reputable studio offers.
The marriage of these two elements is a perfect blend for my

provides
on location site support for Photographic Events. He co-ordinates lighting
effects as well as all on-site logistics to assist both the photographer and
client. He ensures your enjoyment, as well as a smooth & effective
photographic session. |
Studio

manages all session scheduling, photo orders, &
studio logistics. Additionally, Linda will help
you with overall information you require regarding our services. |
